The antiquated Sthaneshwar Mahadev Sanctuary, devoted to Ruler Shiva is arranged in Thanesar, a heavenly town in the Kurukshetra locale of Haryana. Legend

About the divinity

The sanctuary with a vault formed rooftop follows a local kind of engineering. The exterior of the rooftop is formed like an ‘amla’ alongside a tall apex. The Lingam is antiquated and still revered by the nearby individuals.
